Use Case 2: Transfer DEM from Google Earth into ArcGIS

Step 1: Set "Joint DEM Point to Mesh" checked by right click to activate the context menu

Step 2: Define the DEM Resolution by click scroll button (in blue circle)

Step 3: Click the button "Get DEM from Google Earth" to get DEM points and meshes

Step 4: Save the data in a shape file "mesh.shp" by right click on the new layer, the contours will automatically saved in 3d format

Step 5: Load the file "mesh.shp" into ArcScene to show the 3d data

Step 6: Right click on the layer "mesh"; Let the conversion factor in the “z unit conversion frame” be a appropriate value e.g. 0.00005

Step 7: Result
